Dr. Brooks has been with the MGH Institute since 1987.She started as a Lecturer in Functional Anatomy.She has taught spinal, extremity and functional anatomy courses for the Post Professional Masters Program since 1990.She currently teaches Health Care Policy and Practice management in the Professional Physical Therapy Program.Joann is the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Occupational Health at PortsmouthRegionalHospital.She is an APTA board certified clinical specialist in orthopedics and maintains a part time general orthopedic practice at Portsmouth Regional Hospital Hampton Rehabilitation Services.
