Biographical Information
In September 2007, Janis P. Bellack became President of the MGH Institute, and John Hilton Knowles Professor. President Bellack serves as a member of the National Program Faculty for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's (RWJF) Executive Nurse Fellows Program and is a senior fellow at the University of California, San Francisco Center for the Health Professions. She currently serves on the City of Bostons Mayor's Taskforce on Improving Access to Primary Care, and the National Advisory Committee for the RWJF program Evaluating Innovations in Nursing Education. Dr. Bellack has published extensively in the professional literature, serves as associate editor of the Journal of Nursing Education, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She has been honored as outstanding alumnus of the University of Virginia, University of Florida, and University of Kentucky.
