Biographical Information
Dr. Baldwin joined the Institute Physical Therapy faculty in 2007, following numerous clinical and administrative positions.
Prior to MGH Institute, she was the Clinical Supervisor at Spaulding Rehabilitation Outpatient Center in Wellesley for eight years, overseeing the adult neurological and pediatric programs. She continues to have a clinical appointment at Spaulding Wellesley as an advanced clinician practicing in both pediatrics and adult neurology.
As a member of the physical therapy programs Clinical Education team, Dr. Baldwin is responsible for continuing the successful development and implementation of the clinical education components of the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy and post-professional Master of Science programs.
Jane's teaching responsibilities in the entry-level DPT program include Professional Socialization, Seminar I and II and Health Promotion. In addition, Jane is a certified trainer for the APTAs clinical instructor credentialing program; as such, she provides professional development opportunities for clinicians seeking to improve their clinical teaching skills.
Dr. Baldwin is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association on both a local and national level. She has served on the Strategic Planning Task Force and the Advisory Panel on Membership. She is also involved in the Education, Neurology, and Pediatric sections of the APTA.
